Nothing better than the classic black and wood combination. This beautiful old desk got a fabulous makeover and is ready for her new home. The eight drawers are all dovetailed and have original pulls. The bottom right drawer looks like two, but is double deep. All of the drawers have been refreshed in "Black Sea" furniture salve by Wise Owl Paint and smell amazing. The sides of each drawer and the sides of the desk have wonderful added detail using stamps by Re·Design with Prima The top was sanded, re-stained and sealed. The body and drawers were finished in an old world technique that looks like fabulous texture, but is smooth to the touch. Light distressing in all the right places finishes the look.The back is finished as well, making it possible to use in any space.
