This vintage Roos brand cedar chest has been fabulated to live her best life! Hand painted in shades of plum and gray, a stunning decoupage paper has been artfully applied to the top, Goldenrod metallic paint used for the branches and birds, and florals with inspirational words adorn the sides. The back has been finished in the same plum and gray color with no additional details added. Everything has been sealed in a satin varnish for protection.
A great gift for graduation, birthday, anniversary... Perfect for blanket storage at the end of a bed, used a coffee table, even in an entryway.
The locking mechanism has been removed from the lid. 
The inside is lined in all cedar and has been cleaned and refreshed with hempseed oil.

As with all vintage and antique furniture, it is not in perfect condition. It has a few scars from previous lives, but they are cosmetic. The feet are original, and while strong and solid wood, I do not suggest using it as a seat.  More photos are available on request.
