This is a vintage furniture piece that has had previous lives and is not a brand new factory finish. I believe in keeping vintage furniture out of the landfills by cleaning, repairing, and repainting it. The 2nd drawer has a small area where the bottom corner has been rounded. You can see the area in one of the close up photos posted here. It does not interfere with the structural integrity of the drawer.
